Feedback is currently being sought for a proposed 67-bed care home to be built on a greenfield site next to the Ely Sailing Club, adjacent to the Roswell Pits Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Update 24 December 2023 On the 20 December 2023 the Cambridgeshire County Council approved turning most of the City of Ely into a 20 mph traffic Zone. More details can be found on the County Council website. As funding had already been allocated for this, it should be implicated by the end of March 2024
