Working with the help of Cambridge Carbon Footprint, East Cambridgeshire Climate Action Network (CAN) is keen to build upon the existing network of Repair Cafes across Cambridgeshire, including those in Soham and Burwell and the new one in Haddenham in order to develop this network further in more towns and villages across East Cambridgeshire in particular Littleport, Witchford and Wilburton as well as re-establishing the Repair Cafe in Ely. Cambridge Carbon Footprint have resources to help a local community set-up their own local Repair Cafe.

We need people to volunteer as local  “Repair Cafe Champions” to get the ball rolling! This could be an individual person or a group of keen enthusiasts to develop the idea and engage with local people to get the support of the local community.

The articles below contain resources to inspire and persuade groups to get started. If you need any help click on the button above to email us.
