Ely Repair Cafe will be back in the new year to start the year off right! What: Ely Repair Cafe When: Saturday 31 January 2026, 11am-2pm Where: Ely Library, 6 The Cloisters, Ely, CB7 4ZH What better way to start the year than by saving some money and helping the environment? For our ninth repair cafe we’ll be back in Ely Library ready to take that Christmas present that’s already not quite working, or help you fulfil your new year’s resolution to throw less away. We’ll be set up in Ely Library on Saturday 31 January 2026 from 11am to 2pm and can’t wait to see you there. Make sure to pre-book before 10 January so we know what to expect. Do you have something that’s broken that you don’t know how to fix but can’t bring yourself to throw away? Something like a toaster, kettle, lamp, bag, toy, jewellery or pair of jeans? Repair Cafes are community events that match people who need stuff fixed with people who like fixing things. Local, experienced, volunteer repairers repair all sorts of household items such as toasters, laptops, clothes, toys, bikes and more. All repairs are free, but guests are asked to watch the process so they can learn something about it.
